Whether you are a babe in Christ or you have been saved for multiple years it does not matter to the Lord. Both are under the same guidance and care. Come today, come now, come right now, and be strengthened and built up. Come to the one who never slumbers and who knows all. Let not your heart be troubled come to the flowing well of God’s inexhaustible care and comfort found in His precious Word. “The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Trust Him now and forever more.
Dear believer you are not alone. You have not been left unattended. In the heat of the day, in the middle of the day the Good Shepherd is tending to the flock. There is no distance too far, no valley to deep, no heart break so horrific that the Lord Jesus can’t comfort the child of God. Psalm 48:14 says, “For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” The wonderful comfort that awaits us from these golden Words from God is matchless in comparison to the worldly comforts that are often rooted in and the product of sin.

Thank you for your prayers! I had a real liberty to preach and the Lord met with us today. No one was saved, but I believe the saints were edified. It is a blessing to provide pulpit supply to those who are without a pastor! Please pray for the churches in rural areas. Thank you for praying and visiting, Bro. Tracy They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word." Psalm 119:74 Faith is built by exposure to God's holy Word (Romans 10:17). Not only will our faith increase, but it will act as a bonding compounding in our fellowship with other believers within the body of Christ. When you hope in God's Word and it is lived out in your life the hope that you exhibit will bring joy and encouragement to others. We live in a time where discouragement seems to be at an all-time high in the lives of many Christians. I challenge you to be a light in the lives of your brothers and sisters in Christ this morning and evening at your home chuch (be a blessing to others as well). Be a blessing! They will be glad when they see you and that will bring glory to God and good to those around you. Lord willing tomorrow will be another opportunity. Many will come in a variety of ways. Some will walk while others will drive. For some there will be a bus or buses that will go out and bring in the young and the old alike. With that said, there will be people in the class rooms and the pews. Teachers who have prayed and labored over their lessons will be prepared. Many will come. Pastors and preachers will have sought the Lord for the message that He would have them to preach. They will have soaked and saturated those messages in prayer. My friend tomorrow is not a game; souls are in the balance and people are hurting and hungry for truth. This world and its way offer rotten manna that neither saves nor satisfies. Many will come. Will you pray this morning? Will you pray today? Will you pray tonight? Pray for the People in the pews Pray for the Pastor Pray for the Preacher Pray for the Teacher Pray for the Buses Pray that religion will not be practiced, but that the Holy Spirit will move mightily when God’s Word is preached. Pray that God’s Word: Comforts Convicts Confronts Many will be coming, will you pray? “Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee.” Genesis 12:1 From Abram to the man, women, boy or girl who is saved at this very moment and all of the saints in between, the real journey has begun. You are now on “the” journey that matters. Your instructions are not from a finite man whose plans are temporary, but your instructor and your captain is the Living God. The Bible says, “Thus saith the Lord, thy redeemer the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go” (Isaiah 48:17.) God’s plan will always be the best plan for the journey that He has for us. God will teach and lead His children. As you consider Abram and his call to leave his country, his family and his father’s house, ask yourself, what is it that you have not yielded to the Lord so that your journey will not be hindered by your disobedience? What are you holding on to with both hands? This place that we call home is nothing more than a motel. This life is short and we move forward by faith. My friend, pull up the stakes and travel lite, we have a home awaiting us in heaven and a life to be lived now as God leads the way. Don’t get comfortable with the temporary. Keep your eyes upon the Lord Jesus and the real journey that He has for you. His plan and will for your life is above and beyond anything that is rooted in or of this world. Oswald Chambers wrote, “Faith never knows where it is being led. But it loves and knows the one who is leading.” Are you living a life of faith? What journey are you on? Follow God’s map and plan that He has for you and your journey. Your life will count for the cause of Christ and your journey will truly matter. Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. Jeremiah 20:9 Jeremiah was God’s man who preached Gods message to God’s people. He was the weeping prophet who warned and warned and warned the people of Judah the coming judgment of God. The broken heart of Jeremiah reveals the heart of God for His people. Judgment without warning would show that God was not a God of grace and mercy. God is merciful but God is also a God of truth and justice and sin and disobedience must be dealt with. Preaching Gods messages brought reproach and rebukes and made Jeremiah public enemy number one within his own people. They didn’t want to hear what this man of God had to say. As a believer you may never know the extent of the reproach that Jeremiah endured. Yet when you stand for God’s Word you will know persecution. You may say as Jeremiah said, “I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name.” The battle around you might be great, but if you choose not to speak the truth, the fire within you will be greater. That is a wondrous and glorious thing. Amen and Amen! We need to live Holy Spirit filled lives and allow the Spirit to stoke such a fire in each and every one of us. O to have a fire that cannot be held in our hearts. A burning fire fueled by the Word of God and lit by the Holy Spirit. This is aimed not only toward men but also toward the ladies; the young people and teens who read this. Remember Jeremiah is speaking to God’s people. There may come a time when you will have to speak to a brother or sister in Christ who has erred by turning away from God. Such a task can be tough but it must be done. Allow the Holy Spirit to guide you. Your approach and words will be Christ like and the one who you are sent to will be better off for it. “The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly” Proverbs 18:8 We have had a recent increase of visitors to the website and I praise the Lord for the work He is doing. I wanted to repost a blog for the new visitors. Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying for A Call To The World Ministries. Bro. Tracy I recently read, “R.G. LeTourneau was for many years an outstanding Christian businessman- heading a company which manufactured large earth-moving equipment. He once remarked, “We used to make a scrapper known as “Model G.” One day somebody asked our salesman what the “G” stood for. The man, who was pretty quick on the trigger, immediately replied, “I’ll tell you. The “G” stands for gossip because like a talebearer this machine moves a lot of dirt and moves it fast.” I remember quite vividly as an unsaved man watching those who professed themselves to be Christians. I took note of their actions and their words. You see even as an unsaved man, I thought there must be something different between myself and them. Often times that was not the case as I noticed they were first in line for the latest dirt. They would move the dirt to the next person and seem to enjoy the attention as the people gathered around them while hanging on every morsel of gossip that flowed off their tongue. There is no fruit to be found in gossip. It does not bring honor or glory to God. As a matter of fact, it brings shame to the Lord and a black eye to the believer’s testimony. A gossip is a link in a chain that no Christian has any business being a part of. A Christian should have nothing to do with it and stay away from those who participate in it. Proverbs 26:22 says, “The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.” That is not a misprint! I hope you get the importance of this in the eyes of God. Don’t move the dirt. I will be preaching at Calvary Baptist Church this coming Sunday and I would appreciate your prayers! It is going to be a busy couple of months. I am scheduled to preach every Sunday in October except one plus the chapel service at Dottie's Refuge. I have three revival meetings planned in the month of November. Thank you for your prayers! God has been doing a mighty work. People are responding to the preaching of the Word of God. The altars have been used and people are being stirred and dealt with. Praise the Lord! Your prayers are powerful and needful! Thanks for visiting. Bro. Tracy It is Wednesday and tonight we gather together for church. Let’s be in prayer throughout the day for tonight’s service. I believe far too many think of Wednesday night service as not being important but my friend God can meet with you in a mighty way when His word is preached! Too many are missing out on being a blessing and being blessed when they make the choice to miss the service tonight.
Let’s pray for: The Pastor- O we need Holy Spirit filled Pastors to be bring Holy Spirit filled messages. The People in the pews- We need to lift up our brothers and sisters in Christ who attend our home church. The Preachers- Some of you might be having fall revival meetings or mission conferences; you need to be praying that the man that God has sent to preach the meeting will have a holy unction from on high upon him. The Power of God- The Gospel of Christ is the power of God unto salvation! We need to pray for souls to be saved during the Wednesday services. No matter where it is you call home (I am speaking to those all over this world) pray today and ask the God of heaven to do a powerful work tonight. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. James 4:8a The wonderful aroma of the cedar tree is truly activated when placed into a hot fire. I remember a cool fall day when I was cleaning and clearing some brush I threw some pieces of cedar on the fire. The cool fall air filled with the wonderful smell of that tree. I watched the smoke make its way far into the sky. That aroma seemed to saturate every place in that field and tree line. In the times of deep trial and testing when I am in the Lord's kiln I humble my self in His mighty and caring hands. I draw near to the Lord by way of praising and blessing His name and in such times my desire is for there to be a plume of praise finding its way to my God that has an aroma that pleases and blesses Him. The Bible says, "Cast your care upon him; for he careth for you" (1Peter 5:7). Your life will be filled with the wonderful aroma of peace when you come close and near to the Lord. It won't be the peace that the world gives, but the peace that the Lord Jesus promised, (John 14:27). Such peace will be on display for others to witness. As you draw near to almighty God it will be seen and known. You will be blessed and others will be prompted to ask you how it is you are handling the particular situation. The saints will be comforted and the sinners will know conviction. That will be an open door to share the Lord Jesus Christ. |
