"O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee" Psalm 63:1a
Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.  Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.  My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalm 5:1-3

Dear Christian, these words have such depth to them- David is not playing games.  These words are not simply from the heart they have made their way up from deep down within.  My prayer for myself and whoever else may read this is that we would find ourselves at such a place right now!  No gimmicks, no games and no playing religion.  O to be a living sacrifice for the Lord to do with as He would; to give ourselves over to His will willingly.  To come to such a place of desire for God should be the burning ambition of us all.  Take a moment and read the verses slowly and deliberately again and again.  Allow each word to have its moment.  Make the verses your own prayer.

David has spread himself out before the One True God.  He seems to be completely and utterly emptied of self.  David has not come lightly- he is all in.  He is not looking around he is looking up.  He doesn’t appear to desire anything or anyone more than his Lord, his King and his God and they are all one in the same.  O that we had a blazing fire for our Lord that the world, the flesh, the devil nor circumstance could dampen.

Come up close to the Lord, and anticipate Him meeting with you
.

The Truth From The Bible

Psalm 1:1-6

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

We learn of a chilling contrast that can be likened to two different roads; two different ways; two different paths; two different directions, and finally, two different destinations.  Those who chose to follow the word of God and the will of God are like a tree planted and deep rooted.  They will be watered and fruitful.  The ungodly are not so.  They follow after the counsel of the wicked.  They will live in the way of sinners, and they will allow this world to define them and ultimately destroy them.  Sadly, many have laid their roots down in this world, and in doing so, just as a tree takes in nourishment for its survival, so have many fed off the things of this world.  The Bible says, “And the world passeth away and the lust thereof.”(1 John 2:17)  Three things have taken place in the minds and the hearts of the ungodly.

I. They have been Deceived- Satan has blinded them with the pleasures and treasures of this world. Speaking of the lost, the Apostle Paul wrote in II Corinthians 4:4 “In whom the god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”  So many have bought the lies of the devil and have been deceived.

II. They have made a Decision– Many have made a decision that they don’t need to be saved, and so with that decision they don’t need the Lord Jesus Christ.  This can be considered another branch of deception, because Satan has used the guise of religion to lead many to the decision they have made.  Paul writes in II Corinthians 11:13-14, “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”  Many have been deceived by false teachings when it comes to the true gospel, and thus they have made their decision no matter if one does share the truth them.

III. They have Denied- With the deception came the decision, and in the end they deny the saving blood of Jesus Christ to do what only it can do, and that is to wash their sins and save them.  The Lord Jesus said these words, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)

Our verse teaches us that the ungodly are compared to chaff.  Worthless and weightless.  There is no substance to them.  We picture them being driven away.  The path of this world that they once traveled was fool’s gold, and that thing which they rooted themselves in has rotted.  Surely they must have seen and noticed those who chose the Lord’s way, and how the Lord worked in their lives.  The Bible says, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.”(Psalm 14:1a)  I pray that God will speak loud and clear to our hearts today.

Evening in the Word

We will be teachable when we are reachable.  We have to give ourselves over to the Lord and be submissive to His will for our lives.   We cannot come to God with our plans in our hands and expect Him to bless them.  When our hearts are fixed upon Him and His plans for our lives we will be reachable and teachable.  David wrote in Psalm 25:1-5, “Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.  Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.  Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.  Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.”  David did not lean on his own understanding.  He had three requests of the Lord that made him reachable and teachable.

I. Show me- Thy Ways.

II. Teach me- Thy Paths.

III. Lead me- In Thy Truths.

David said, “O my God, I trust in thee.” And “On thee do I wait all the day.”  David was trusting in and submissive to the Lord.  We would do well to follow his example.  There will be times in our lives when we will not understand the outcome or circumstances of various situations.  Our peace will be plentiful when we place our trust in the all-knowing God and lean upon Him and not our own finite understanding.

Life in the Word of God

“The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”

Psalm 118:14

A life built upon the Word of God will be a life of substance and stability that will stand out in a world that is not accustomed to such living. We will be a light in this lost and dark world. I recntly posted this, but I feel led to re-post it.  God knows who it is that needs it.

I. Strength- Allow God to be your strength. Trust and depend on Him for the totality of your life. Roll that which has you troubled onto the all Powerful One. The psalmist writes, “The Lord is my strength.” Is He yours? If not, why not?

II. Song- When His strength is our strength He will be our song.  The melody of our hearts will be a tune that glorifies God while it blesses our souls.

III. Salvation- The God of the universe is our deliverer. You name it He can deliver us; heartache, fear, sin, hell, doubt, hopelessness, pain, stress, loneliness and the devil.  The list can go on and on.

Glory To God!

Glory to God what a day!  I am not deserving of such a wonderful day in the Lord.  It all started with my dear wife dropping me off at the Indianapolis Airport. What an encouragement and blessing she is to me!  As you can see from the photo's it was a full day and again all I can say is glory to God! I love my Lord and Saviour and desire that He would be glorified.  I am a nobody who is trusting the Lord with the totality of his life.  I am not fishing for a pat on the back I simply want to serve my Lord and Saviour.

Thanks to those who have prayed and given to God's work through A Call to the World Ministries.  Jodi and I both are blessed. Keep praying for me as I serve in Maine for a week.

Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying,

PictureBro. Tracy & Jodi Killinger
My Testimony:
In the fall of 2002, at the age of 36, I was alone at my home I wasn't at a church service and I wasn't at a revival meeting, but God had sent many people throughout my life up to that point to share the Gospel. I was at the end of my rope and knew that if I was to die at that very moment I would be hell bound with no hope for heaven. I was dead in my trespasses and sins. On my face- I called on the name of the Lord and He saved me!!  That night at my home on my face before Almighty God was where grace & mercy convened when I cried Jesus save me!  Glory to God! I have a dear aunt who had witnessed to me and prayed for me as well. My life has truly never been the same. I praise God for His mercy, long suffering and His amazing grace. It blesses my heart that God has allowed me to stand and preach before those who knew me before I was saved!  What a Saviour!

The heart and soul of "A Call to the World Ministry" is two fold:

I. Preaching Ministry:
In 2006 God called me to preach.  Since 2006 I have preached Revival Meetings, provided pulpit supply, and Youth conferences as well. As the Lord has opened doors, I have had a desire to pray for and be an encouragement to the people and the pastors of the churches that I have been sent. I have been able to fill the gap when needed for those churches who are looking for a pastor. My wife and I sing together as well as a part of our ministry.

I have a burden for the sinners and the saints alike, and I truly believe that when God’s man brings God’s message in God’s power, Almighty God will do a powerful work in the lives of both the lost and the saved. I believe revival can be a reality in the lives of the redeemed.  I truly believe that the seed of revival will be planted in the soil of gratitude.  When we are truly grateful for our souls being saved we will have a heart for the Lord! Revival will be a reality.

If you would like to schedule a meeting, a special Sunday or a Wednesday please feel free to e-mail me at [email protected], or by using the form below.  I will be sure to respond in a timely fashion. 2015 is winding down and I am sure many Pastors are (Lord willing) planning for 2016.  We would love to come in and be a blessing and encouragement through the preaching of God's Word and through our singing.

II. Media Ministry:
On August the 13th 2009 the Lord put on my heart the idea of a website that would share His wonderful Word to the world and in doing so the world would be introduced to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and that a light would shine in the midst of a lost and dark world through the vehicle of the world wide web.Through our website my prayer is that many will be saved (The Gospel is presented in 80 different languages on our Decision and Destiny page). My desire for the Christians who visit our site is that they will be comforted, challenged, convicted and encouraged to live lives whole heartily for the Lord Jesus Christ through the writings that are posted and the messages that are available. We are in dire need for God's people to have and know revival. We need Holy Ghost filled believers who love the Lord Jesus without stutter or stammer. We need to be serious about the Word of God and the things of God. We should each have a desire to live lives that bring glory to God.

The Lord put on my heart soon after I was saved a burden to pray for others. It is a white hot fire that the Lord still fuels today. I have seen God move mightily through prayer. The burden for prayer is now a part of the website. We have nearly one hundred Pastors, Preachers, Missionaries, Evangelist and Ministries that are listed on our "Prayer Requests Page". The possibilities are great for prayer. It gives you the visitor the opportunity to be a part of something powerful and mighty in Christ Jesus! Glory!

We want to invite you to use the comment boxes to share with us how God is using acalltotheworld.com to touch the lives of those of you who visit us.  If you have been blessed while reading any of the blogs, click on "Like" found below each blog so that others through your Face Book or twitter account can learn about A Call to the World Ministries.

A Reminder:
This website is not intended to take the place of attending a Bible preaching, Bible believing church.  The Bible teaches us in Hebrews 10:25 that we are not to forsake “…the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Simply put, the born again believer needs to be a part of a Bible believing local church.

My wife Jodi and I make our home in rural Indiana.  Our home church is Providence Baptist Church our Pastor is Darren McDonald.

I believe that Revival can be a Reality!

Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying,

Bro.Tracy Killinger

Psalm 103:1-12

1 Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

8 The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

Calling Upon Prayer Warriors!

Prayers from around the world will make a difference around the world. Let's Pray!

The devil cannot stomach or stand when the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is being preached and proclaimed. He especially despises it when lost souls are being saved and the redeemed are being discipled. I have what I believe to be an urgent prayer request from our Missionary friend in Croatia Sam Ward.

Will you pray? Will you come down and get into the battle of interceding prayer? Please share this prayer request with as many as possible.  The fight is real, but Jesus is our victor.

Prayer Request:

The devil is working hard to destroy our work with the Gypsies in the village of Kuršanec.
The Gypsy people tend be extremely emotional and very volatile, so working with them is very difficult to start with.
Lately several backsliders (in their twenties) started returning to services just to create disruptions and cause distractions. To them it was funny, but it sure put a heavy burden on my heart. Of course, we want to see people get right with God and do right, but these just want to destroy the work. They refused to accept rebuke, saying they would do whatever they wanted, so I had to let them know they were not permitted to return to our services.
These have the potential to turn others in the village against us, and create a great deal of trouble, so we need prayer.
Most Gypsies in a particular village are related in some way, so they tend to stick together.

This type of behavior is seen in all ages. Just this morning, a young boy, about 10 years old, opened the door during our children’s service and threw several dead birds at the kids who were attending, just trying to ruin the service for everyone.

We really want to see a church grow right here in the midst of the darkness, but we sure need God’s help.

Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement.

Sam Ward

A Charge and a Prayer

I pray that you squeeze every ounce out of every minute, out of every second, out of every moment and every day for the cause of Christ.  Be filled with the Holy Spirit while feeding on God's Word. Be still and know that God is God. Seek His face, seek His direction and seek His will for your life.  Hunger and thirst after righteousness and look to do good in a world full of evil and hurting people. Pray while believing and believe while praying. I pray fervently that you will desire to make your life count for the Lord Jesus Christ.  In all things give thanks.  Paul said, "I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 2:14.)  Make God's purpose your purpose and you will live a life of purpose.  Build and root your life in the Words and the life of the Lord Jesus Christ and your life will be built and rooted on a solid rock and not upon the shifting sand of the flesh, the world and the devil. Proclaim, promote and present the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. Accumulate over the course of your life a legacy that points directly to the God of Heaven and in doing so God will be glorified and you will be minimized and many will be reached with the glorious Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I want to thank all of you who come to this website!  Thank you for your prayers and your kind comments. May God be glorified in all that is said and done through A Call to the World Ministries!

Thanks for Visiting,

“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”

Psalm 119:89

I recently read these words and they both blessed and encouraged me.  I pray that they will be a reminder to you dear believer of God’s Powerful and timeless Word.

“Whose Word is it? It is the Lord’s Word.  He is the infinite One, the One who speaks with final authority.  He is the One whose Word can never be reversed, called back or overruled.  For how long is it settled? Forever!”

Now- let that sink in.  Let that settle deep in your heart and into the depth of your very bones and being.  Don’t allow anyone or anything to cause you to change your stance or your reliance upon the infallible Word of the Living God.  Let’s continue to stand in a world that has decided to shun the Word of God.  You might be surprised to learn one day how God has been able to use you as you have continued to stay in and to stand upon His Word.
