Our decisions will go a long way in defining the life we live.
Allow God to do a work in you today. Allow Him to shape you and form you to be all that He desires for you to be in Christ Jesus. There is power to be found and a life to be lived when we die to self and desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Our decisions will go a long way in defining the life we live. It is and always has been about the choices that we make. God's word often times gives us examples and illustrations of two different roads or two different paths, and teaches us what we can expect to find on those roads and paths that we choose to take. My friend, the house is only as strong as the foundation that it is built upon, and so it is in the life of a Christian. When we choose to follow and obey the commandments of the Lord our lives will be built on bedrock and not a sand pile. The Bible says, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16.) What path are you on? Are you walking in the Spirit or are you running with the world and thus allowing your flesh to rule the roost? The answer to these questions will define the life you are living at this very moment. Be honest and quit playing games. God has the best plan and why not allow Him to have all of you. Dear believer, you were bought with a price and you are not your own. The Lord Jesus paid a horrible and horrific price for the saving of your soul. Calvary wasn't a picnic it was a battle ground where Jesus won the victory for your sinful soul by the shedding of His precious blood. Take your self off the throne and allow the Lord to have His rightful place in your life. Surrender your life to Him completely and you will soon learn what true living is all about. Allow God to be the Lord of your life and not just a Sunday acquaintance. Let God have complete control.

My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes. Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according unto thy word. Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously. I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me. I have stuck unto thy testimonies: O Lord, put me not to shame. I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart. Psalm 119:25-32 Prayer: "Open though mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law" (Psalm 119:18.) Lay these verses before you and allow the Holy Spirit to open your heart and teach you. Key words or Phrases: Five times the writer uses the personal pronoun I- Don't miss that. I. "Teach me." II. "Make me." III. "Strengthen thou me" IV. Chosen V. Stuck VI. Run I have had visitors ask how they can submit a prayer request. I have added a comment box at the bottom of the prayer request page that will allow you to submit your request. Your request will go to my email and I will be sure to post it (Or them) in a timely fashion. I want to encourage you to use the prayer request page. I believe many are praying and we have seen the Lord work in a powerful way! Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying, Bro. Tracy My cousin Kelly who has prayed for us since the early stages of A Call to the World Ministries sent me a prayer request. Her request: "Please pray for a lady by the name of Hazel in Atlanta, Ga. She is in the hospital with a lower leg infection. She previously had leg surgery, She also has diabetes and congestive heart failure. She is being treated with antibiotics. I know they will appreciate the prayers very much." We have an opportunity to call on the Lord on the behalf of this dear lady. Let's take the opportunity serious! Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying, Bro. Tracy No matter how great the storm, how long the night or how painful the situation might be, we must not, we cannot, neglect or turn away from prayer. When we turn away from prayer, we are turning away from God. Prayer is the spark that lights the fuse that puts into motion the power of Almighty God. Within the prayer closet one finds comfort, confidence and closeness with the heavenly Father. The heaviness of urgency should weigh upon each of our hearts when it comes to prayer. The best time to pray is now! If we were to wait until we felt like praying, we would sparingly, if ever, pray. Prayer is hope on its knees and power on display. There is no distance so great that prayer cannot make a difference. Within the prayer closet one finds comfort, confidence and closeness with the heavenly Father. Prayer knits and binds us together with those we are praying for. I have had times when the Holy Spirit has prompted me to call someone to ask how I can pray for them only to find out they were at the hospital that very moment with a loved one. The prayer- less Christian is the cold just going through the motion Christian. This neither pleases the Lord nor adds anything of any value to our walk with the Lord. If we want a fire in our bones and a spiritual skip in our step we will be about the business of prayer. Find a place, set aside the time and become a prayer warrior in the army of the Living God.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Hebrews 10:23-25 In the midst of the dry and weary land that is known as the world we have a place today that we can gather. We have a place where we can come together in out of the world and its desires. We have a place that provides a cool cup of soul soothing water as well as a table full of spiritual meat and bread. It is church time! It is another opportunity to get up under the canopy of God's mighty provision: God's Word-Preached and taught in power and love. God's Power- The Holy Spirit doing what a mere man can't. God's People- The body of Christ praising and delighting in the Lord Jesus. Come today and find: Comfort for the hurting; compassion for the lost; conviction that will draw you to Christ Jesus. It is what is needed in a dry and thirsty world. Come today looking for a touch from God. The anticipation of God doing a powerful thing today should be as a fire in the depths of your very being. It's time for church! Before I was saved, at the age of 36, I might have spent Saturday night at a bar or a pub. I had a blues band, and some Saturday nights I would have been playing out at a bar. I can remember looking from the stage in the middle of a song and thinking that I was part of the reason that many of the folks were there drinking and living in such a way. I did not feel good about that. Sunday mornings would have found me at a local restaurant eating breakfast and reading the Sunday paper. But now...That has all changed! I am born again!! Glory to God! Now, on Sunday mornings, if I am not preaching out my wife and I will be at our home church. Last Sunday in our Sunday school class we were in the book of Daniel and as Bro. John was teaching we read from Daniel 3:24-25, "Then Nebuchadnezar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." My eyes filled with tears, and I nearly jumped up and did a lap!! Glory to God! I will take that over Sunday breakfast at a restaurant and a newspaper every time. My Saturday nights are completely different as well! I like to set aside time to pray for my pastor and our services and for my preaching. I like to pray for the many pastor and preacher friends who God has brought into my life. I anticipate God doing a powerful work on Sunday. I anticipate God doing a mighty work across our nation and around the world! I am thankful that I am saved and no longer the ungodly fool sitting in a bar. Take time, this evening, to consider who you once were before you were saved, and that you were dead in your trespasses and sins. Take time, to praise the Lord for His mercy and grace. Take time, to pray, and ask God to bless in a mighty way the services on Sunday. Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. Jeremiah 33:3 What blessings that are available if we will call out to Almighty God. I fear that most don't take advantage of prayer and so they miss out on a powerful relationship and a wonderful time with the Lord. Countless Christians also miss out on those things that God has prepared to bless them with. I am not suggesting that I am a part of the name it and claim it crowd, but what I am wanting is for you to be excited and fired up about the very real truth that God has many great and mighty things He is wanting to show you. When was the last time you prayed, "O God give me understanding; give me wisdom; allow me to see that which I desire...show me" Come to the Lord with a clean heart and anticipate the God of Heaven moving mightily. It is a call worth making. Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word. Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me. My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath unto thy judgments at all times. Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, which do err from thy commandments. Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies. Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes. Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counselors. With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes. With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth. I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches. I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways. I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word. Psalm 119:9-16 Prayer: "Open thou mine eyes that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law" (Psalm 119:18.) Key Words or Phrases: I. "With my whole heart have I sought thee" II.
