Allow God to do a work in you today. Allow Him to shape you and form you to be all that He desires for you to be in Christ Jesus. There is power to be found and a life to be lived when we die to self and desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Our decisions will go a long way in defining the life we live. It is and always has been about the choices that we make. God's word often times gives us examples and illustrations of two different roads or two different paths, and teaches us what we can expect to find on those roads and paths that we choose to take. My friend, the house is only as strong as the foundation that it is built upon, and so it is in the life of a Christian. When we choose to follow and obey the commandments of the Lord our lives will be built on bedrock and not a sand pile. The Bible says, "This I say then, Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh" (Galatians 5:16.) What path are you on? Are you walking in the Spirit or are you running with the world and thus allowing your flesh to rule the roost? The answer to these questions will define the life you are living at this very moment. Be honest and quit playing games. God has the best plan and why not allow Him to have all of you. Dear believer, you were bought with a price and you are not your own. The Lord Jesus paid a horrible and horrific price for the saving of your soul. Calvary wasn't a picnic it was a battle ground where Jesus won the victory for your sinful soul by the shedding of His precious blood.
Our decisions will go a long way in defining the life we live.
Take your self off the throne and allow the Lord to have His rightful place in your life. Surrender your life to Him completely and you will soon learn what true living is all about. Allow God to be the Lord of your life and not just a Sunday acquaintance. Let God have complete control.
