God's Word reminds us of His enduring care. Dear believer you are not alone. You have not been left unattended. In the heat of the day, in the middle of the day the Good Shepherd is tending to the flock. There is no distance too far, no valley to deep, no heart break so horrific that the Lord Jesus can’t comfort the child of God. Psalm 48:14 says, “For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.” The wonderful comfort that awaits us from these golden Words from God is matchless in comparison to the worldly comforts that are often rooted in and the product of sin.
Whether you are a babe in Christ or you have been saved for multiple years it does not matter to the Lord. Both are under the same guidance and care. Come today, come now, come right now, and be strengthened and built up. Come to the one who never slumbers and who knows all. Let not your heart be troubled come to the flowing well of God’s inexhaustible care and comfort found in His precious Word. “The Lord is my Shepherd I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). Trust Him now and forever more.
