Steve Siebold
Author and expert in the field of critical thinking and mental toughness training
No doubt that the words you just read are blasphemous. It is easy to pray for the friendly and the kind lost person, but it can be tough to pray for those who have the aforementioned beliefs and philosophies. The celebrated thinkers and so called intellects need to be prayed for. The Bible says of God, "Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." (1Timothy 2:4-6) God sent his Son for the sinners. At one time we who are redeemed were dead in our trespasses and sins just as much as those who are dead in their trespasses and sins at this very moment. I am quite certain that someone prayed for you I certainly know that someone prayed for me. Is it too much to ask ourselves to pray for Mr. Siebold and others like him? No.
May God help us to see the lost as he see the lost. May God help us to have love and compassion for their lost souls.
