I want to thank all of you who have been praying for the official kick off of the bus ministry at Rosman Baptist Tabernacle in Rosman, North Carolina. I asked Pastor Tommy Morrow to give us an update after their first month. I was blessed and pray that you will be as well. The real blessing is the work that the Lord is doing in the people at RBT. Let's continue to pray!
The Rosman Baptist Tabernacle has just completed our first full month of Bus Ministry. As we look back over the last thirty days it is amazing to see what The Lord has done. We knew going into this exciting new ministry that it was not going to be easy, but we also knew that there were many blessings to be had. Any ministry The Lord leads us into will always come with extensive labor and will provide heavenly blessings! In the last month we have signed up almost two dozen children and have picked up over 50 percent of those each week. I know it will take consistency on our Saturday visitation and continued door knocking, and also Gods favor to see more parents allowing us to pick up their children. We live in a very hard hearted, rough area and we realize it will take The Lord as we move forward in winning the Lost to The Lord. I would like to share some other areas of blessing that we have witnessed through this wonderful ministry. Let me first say that the Rosman Baptist Tabernacle has never been involved in the bus ministry and what The Lord is doing in the hearts of our people is amazing. We have seen sometimes up to three dozen people get involved with visitation, door knocking, and soul winning on Saturdays. The Lord has also put in the hearts of individuals to drive the bus and van as we pick these children up weekly. Then, we have several young adults that are leading songs, bible memory, and games on the bus as we travel to and from church. Several of our adults are working together to have snacks ready when we arrive and then taking care of our riders with Sunday school and Preaching services. I have said all this to say that The Lord has put into the hearts of RBT for this ministry and without that we would not be able to go any farther. Many people are getting involved and helping carry out the burden in our hearts to reach the children with the gospel. We have not seen any children saved as of yet, but I know this will happen in due time. The Lord is doing a work in our hearts so that He will be able to do a work in the hearts of our bus riders in days to come. Thank you so much for your prayers and please continue to pray for us as we follow Christ and go after the children.
Serving Him with Gladness,
Pastor Tommy Morrow
