Isaiah 53:5-6
I never get too far from the cross. You see, I never, ever, want to forget the price that was paid for the redeeming of my soul. Oh my friends, "Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (I Peter 1:18-19.) The wrath of God came down upon the Son of God on Calvary's violent, yet victorious Hill. It was my sin that put the sweet Saviour upon that cross. It was my sin that was placed upon Jesus.
With each passing moment of my blessed salvation Romans 5:5-8 encompasses my heart and fills my very being with a gratitude and joy that grows and builds and that I pray will continue to crescendo until I draw my last breath or the trump sounds. Allow these words to sink in deep, "For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." That has GLORY written all over it. If that doesn't get you fired up and filled up with a Glory fit you need to have your pulse checked!
Read over the scriptures from above and take the time to praise the Lord in Spirit and truth!
