“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Psalm 119:89
I recently read these words and the both blessed and encouraged me. I pray that they will be a reminder to you dear believer of God’s Powerful and timeless Word.
“Whose Word is it? It is the Lord’s Word. He is the infinite One, the One who speaks with final authority. He is the One whose Word can never be reversed, called back or overruled. For how long is it settled? Forever!”
Now- let that sink in. Let that settle deep in your heart and into the depth of your very bones and being. Don’t allow anyone or anything to cause you to change your stance or your reliance upon the infallible Word of the Living God. Let’s continue to stand in a world that has decided to shun the God of the Word and Word of the living God.
