For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39
I am thoroughly convinced the reason for so many long faced and defeated Christians is that they don't partake in one of the most simplest and yet powerful things- READING THEIR BIBLE! Peace seems to be a mystery to so many who are born again. Power in their day to day lives is sparingly a way of life. Joy is something they notice in others, but it is a place they rarely know. Hope seems to be something that others have, but it is a stranger to their lives. The Bible says, "The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple" (Psalm 119:130.) The word of God must enter in before it can minister to us! God's word reveals who we are now in Christ Jesus and it brings to light the blessed benefits we have in and through our Saviour. It teaches us what we have in the here and now and what awaits us in the sweet bye and bye. Peace, Power, Joy and Hope are real today and heaven is a place we will one day call our home. That's a good place for an AMEN!!!
From time to time I am going to post "The Bible Says" as a reminder to the redeemed what God's Word teaches and tells us. I pray it will bring glory to God and bless many.
I want you to meditate on the first four Holy Spirit led words that the Apostle Paul penned in our verses, "For I am persuaded." If you aren't, ask yourself, why? You need to get to the point that you are persuaded because if you are born again these words are shouting Words. The words from our verses are powerful Words! The Words are heaven sent Words! Within these words the redeemed find Peace, Power, Joy and Hope! Praise God, The Bible Says!!
Friend I want you to be encouraged and excited not down trodden and discouraged. Our help and our hope is in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying,
