Stand!

For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

Psalm 84:11-12

Faith is built in the current of everyday living not on the waves of emotion. It is through God's testing and trials that spiritual muscle is built. We need to get over the thought that the pressing and pushing that God allows and plans for our lives is of no value and we need to quit looking at others and comparing our selves. Whether they show it or speak about it or not every child of God will encounter trials and testing.

I know what you might be thinking, "Another blog on faith and trusting the Lord.?" Yes! Allow me to explain. My blanket prayer is that I will post that which I have been led of the Lord to post. Nothing more and nothing less. Now- with that out of the way. I see a lot of believers who are doubled over in doubt instead of walking upright in the power and might of Almighty God while they are in the middle of being tried and tested. When trials come they act as if they are being picked on. God never wastes a trial or a season of testing. There is glory to be had for God and there is faith to be built and constructed in the life of the redeemed. Set aside the pity party and live a life that reflects one who sees opportunity for growth in the beginning, in the middle and finally at the end of a season of suffering. Remember, "O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee."
