Let's pray for Shining Light Baptist! On February 16th of this year the first service was held at Shining Light Baptist Church in Starkville, Mississippi. Many of you may remember that much prayer was asked for this new church plant. Pastor John Harvey has been preaching the Word and doing a faithful work for nearly three months. Pastor Harvey gave me a blessed report of what God has been doing, "God has given us six souls for the Saviour." The Lord has added to this precious work as well, Bro. Harvey stated, " We are up to 12 members with about 16 usual attenders."
I want to thank all of you who joined in prayer for this wonderful work. There is no distance so great that the power of prayer can be altered or stopped. While we have air in our lungs and a beat in our hearts everyday should be approached as an opportunity to pray. Everyday is an opportunity to come down to our knees and lift up our voices on the behalf of others.
