E.M. Bounds wrote, "Our praying however, needs to be pressed and pursued with energy that never tires, a persistency which will not be denied, and a courage which never fails."
Many have a desire for revival fire to sweep through our churches across the platforms, the pulpits, the pews and to blaze a trail across our nation as well as around the globe. Many upon many have a want for the redeemed in Christ to wake up and to burn with a heavenly fire fueled by the word of God and the Holy Spirit. But are we calling on the Lord? Are we pleading on the behalf of others. Revival is often the desire of many but the plea and prayer of few. It is Saturday night...It is an opportunity to come down and to call upon the Living God! I don't want to just read about God doing a mighty work, but I want to witness it firsthand as well as through the testimonies of many.
We will never get another opportunity to pray again on Saturday August 9, 2014. Let's pray tonight! Let's pray with our hearts filled with anticipation and confidence in the God of heaven doing a powerful work tonight and in our services tomorrow.
