What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:31-39
What powerful truths we find in our scriptures from the book of Romans. We often need to be reminded by the Holy Ghost of our position and place in Christ Jesus. When the Lord saved me I had no clue of what precious truths awaited me as the Word of God was illuminated in my heart through the Holy Spirit. As I heard God’s Word preached the foundation was being set. As I read the Word’s of the Living God I was having times of being overwhelmed by God’s Grace, Care, Compassion and Love. As I am writing this tears of joy and jubilation are welling up in my eyes. Oh, the power, that God has provided His children within the pages of His inspired Word.
1. We Learn of our Past.
2. We Learn of our Position.
3. We Learn of our Place.
4. We Learn of HIS Power.
5. We Learn of His Provision.
I pray that many will read this and return to God’s Word. I pray that many will allow the Holy Spirit complete control so that God’s Word will again have its right place in your life.
Would you begin by praying this prayer and meaning it? “Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.” (Psalm 119:18)
