Harvest Baptist Church Watertown, South Dakota
I asked for prayer yesterday for the Shar-a-thon on KPGT in Watertown, SD. I am asking you to also pray for their Missions Conference at Harvest Baptist Church that will be taking place in the evening while their Shar-a-thon takes place during the day.
My good friend Pastor Tommy Morrow from Rosman Baptist Tabernacle will be preaching the meeting. Pastor Lamar Whittemore sent me this message yesterday, "Pray for us as we are having our first Mission Conference. We have had a number of missionaries in, and have had mission's emphasis days, but not a mission conference. I believe God is going to do a great work."
Bro. Whittemore shared with me how God has been working," The Lord allowed us to move to South Dakota seven years ago. We started having Bible study in a home with one family. God has blessed us with a church building, and three years ago (through the help of God's people) allowed us to purchase a local radio station." He also shared,
"We are a low power station at the time, but have been cleared by the FCC to go stronger in power." Bro. Whittemore went on to say, " The other amazing thing about the radio station is we not only reach locally, but through the Internet, we have people that listen around the world. People can listen on our website, www.thetruthfm.com or they can search KPGT on the TuneIn App."
That is exciting! Let's take time to lift up this much needed and powerful work in prayer.
1. Pray that God supplies all that is needed for the Radio station!
2. Pray that God's power and unction is upon Bro. Morrow as he preaches the conference!
3. Pray that the hearts of the saints will be stirred when it comes to missions and souls saved!
4. Pray that God meets mightily with all those who enters the doors at Harvest Baptist!
5. Above all of these- Pray that God Almighty will be glorified and exalted!
