Hebrews 11:6
What is it or better yet, who is it that is preventing you from trusting God? Wherever you are at this very moment, I pray that you will do business with GOD. I pray that the Holy Spirit does a work in you that brings conviction of your unbelief in God when it comes to His promises found in His Word. This is for the born again believer. This is not about fancy words. This is not about a deep theological discussion. This, friend, is about each of us confessing the sin of unbelief and getting right with God.
Our Lord Jesus asks a penetrating question in Luke 18:8, “When the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth.” If the trumpet were to sound, what is it that the Lord Jesus would find in our hearts? Would he find faith that the world and the flesh and the devil could not shake or would the Lord Jesus find a heart full of doubt and despair?
Many people try to do many things to please God, but I am certain that in most cases they leave out this powerful, powerful verse in all that they do. Look back and then look up, and cry out to the God of heaven. When we look back, we will remember the blessings. When we remember the blessings, we will be reminded of God’s faithfulness. When we are reminded of the Lord’s faithfulness, we will cry out for forgiveness for our current sin of unbelief. The Best life is simply believing God!
