Delight in & Dig in to the Word of God! We are blessed to have the entire sixty-six books of the Bible. The Bible is a reservoir, an ocean, an endless supply of truth. What an opportunity that we have each and every day to take in God Almighty’s truth. It is not the mere words of man; it is not pop psychology or the advice of a TV talk show host. We have the pure truth from the living God. A.W. Tozer wrote, "A new world will arise out of the religious mists when we approach our Bible with the idea that it is...a book which is now speaking."
God’s Word is not sprinkled with half-truths. The Word of God does not veer to the left or to the right nor does it run out of steam in the middle. “The Bible says, “Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever” (Psalm 119:160.) From the first letter in the book of Genesis to the last amen in the book of Revelation and every word in between, we have truth, The whole truth and nothing but the truth. “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works” (II Timothy 3:16.) The Word of God is not man made, but God breathed. It is from God, It is of God and the Almighty is in it! Look beyond what you see and hang on to every Word that flows from the Bible- come every day and taste and see that it is the real thing, the only thing that we should allow to lead us in the way that we should live our lives.
