Dear Christian, your light is meant to shine and point people to Christ. The Bible says, "For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord" (Ephesians 5:8a). When you were saved you went from the darkness of being dead in your trespasses and sins to the light of true life in Christ Jesus. You are not just any light the Lord Jesus said, "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life" (John 8:12.)
I want to ask you, what do people see when they see you? What do people hear when you speak? Your actions, attitude and your words are on display for others to see and hear. Is your light shinning, or are you a secret service Christian? Don't hide the light that a dark and hell bound world needs so desperately. Let your light shine like the noon-day sun- every day and everywhere you go! Time is fleeting and we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Make a difference today in Christ Jesus with the glorious life giving gospel.
