There are many blessings that come with preaching from church to church as an evangelist and one of those is all the different folks my wife and I get to meet along the way. We become close to them and we look forward to seeing them again when we go back and I preach.
This past Sunday I filled the pulpit for Pastor Wally Beam at Mt.Olivet Baptist Church and we got to see our dear friend, Brother Les Ronk. Brother Ronk will be eighty-five on his next birthday. He is faithful and when he sings there is power in those nearly eighty-five year old lungs! It blesses me to hear folks sing it out! They sing it and mean it! Amen! That describes this dear saint.
We need to remember the senior saints- There is a lot that we can gather and learn from the lives they have lived in Christ Jesus.
