We all need a reminder from time to time of of our past position as well as our glorious place where we stand at this very moment in Christ Jesus. How about if we shut down the television and talk radio for a moment and allow the Word of the living God to minister to our hearts. How about if we set aside the doom and gloom of the news and set our hearts and minds upon our Saviour and heavenly things ("Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." Colossians 3:2.) How about if we allow ourselves to be reminded that our God is still on the throne and in control and that for the redeemed in Christ Jesus we are on the winning side. I believe it is past time to do such things. It is time to get out of the ditch of discouragement and to stand upon the path of victory that was blazed for us
by our Lord and Saviour Jesus!!

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
