I Thessalonians 5:17
I have been blessed and encouraged by the enthusiasm and response to the prayer requests I have posted on the blog page of the website. I can truly say I have seen God move mightily and this tells me that many have been praying- Glory to God!
As a somewhat new believer God put the importance of prayer on my heart and it is a fire that is still burning white hot today. With that said, I am excited about the new prayer page on the website. You will see "Prayer Requests" at the left hand side of the page. I will first post the requests on my blog (I have gone ahead and put a request on the page to get the ball rolling!) and then the requests will be moved to the prayer page. This is to take advantage of people being able to share the requests on twitter as well as for those who have a face book account. Please retweet and favorite these requests so that many upon many can be praying. The blessing of the requests being moved to a prayer page is that the prayer page can be translated into over eighty different languages! Glory to God!
Now, some may wonder, why a preacher from Indiana is asking for prayer for meetings, church plants, people, pastors and preachers as well as missionaries from various parts of the U.S. as well as from other countries- Think of the impact that can be made to the Glory of God and for the good of many when the saints are coming down to lift others up! My friend, that should make us all excited to be prayer warriors. Imagine the blessing we can be to these folks when they learn that their names and the work God has called them to do is being prayed for by saints they may have never met.
God has blessed me with many new IFB pastor friends through social media- As God leads me I am going to ask these men from time to time how “WE” can be praying for them. There will be revival meetings, lost souls, church members, missionaries, conferences, new church plants and vacation Bible schools we can pray for. The possibilities are endless. Listen- The size of the congregation does not matter!
Let’s anticipate God doing a mighty work! Let’s pray while believing and believe while praying! Let’s desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit! Let’s be a clean vessel that God can use! If we are willing He is able! Let’s desire to see revival in our churches, in our county, in our home states, in our home town and in our country and in each one of us!
I will still be posting blogs that I pray will encourage, comfort, challenge, and convict and fire you up to have a deeper relationship with the Lord. I thank you for the many kind words and give God all the praise and glory for it all.
Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying,
Bro. Tracy
