Often time we fly off the handle before we hear the whole story and are certain of all the facts. We live in the days of speculation and possibilities. How many times have we all heard this,"They said" and we haven't a clue as to whom "they" are. We are bombarded with information that is incomplete while being based on a possible source. Many have become wealthy in that they have a forum or a platform to give their opinion. Talk radio rings in our ears and it seems to be a constant ringing. As a Christian we are told to be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath ( See James 1:18.) Be sure to listen completely in any and every situation and in doing so you will not likely make a fool of yourself or bring shame to the Lord or your own name. Take the time today to get the whole story before you react.
