I just read these words today, “Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.”- Aldous Huxley. If we as a nation don’t wake up we are going to sink even further down into the abyss of sin, degradation, darkness and hopelessness. The reason that we hear so many foolish words, plans and ideas is because we as a nation are a melting pot of ungodly gibberish that has its origin in secular humanism and its promptings from the prince of this world thus we have turned from the true origin of wisdom, truth, understanding and discernment- Almighty God! The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Proverbs 1:7.) The Bible says, “Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established” (Proverbs 16:6.) The Bible says, “The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple” (Psalm 119:130.)
To The Man of God Who God Has Called to Preach His Word- My prayer for you is that you would be overcome with a burden and a brokenness as you seek the Lord’s face for the messages that He has for you. Please do not mistake a burden or a brokenness to mean a weakness- It does not! You are here for such a time as this! Be filled with the Holy Spirit and preach in the power, might and strength of the Living God. The truth is a must! The truth is needed! The truth will comfort! The truth will convict! The truth will challenge! The truth will confront! The truth will bring change! The truth of the Gospel will save souls! The truth must be preached!
To The People of God- My prayer is that you would be overcome with a burden and brokenness for this nation and the people of this nation. We need sold out and determined prayer warriors who have a love for God and a desire to see God work powerfully in the lives of millions. We need to Pray big Prayers while dreaming big in Christ Jesus! Oh to see God move mightily across this nation.
I don’t believe I am being over the top by stating that we are in a spiritual crisis. I believe the words below should be a wake-up call and a word of warning. Read them! Meditate over them! Run them through your heart and mind. It is a frightening picture drawn from the Word of God.
20 Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets:
21 She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying,
22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.
28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:
30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.
