The folks at Weston Baptist were a blessing to both me and my wife. Again, thank you for your prayers!
Bro. Tracy
I cannot thank you enough for praying for the revival meeting at Weston Baptist! I had liberty to preach and sing. I praise God for the way He met with us. The saints were stirred as the Word of God was preached! Conviction in the pews and tears on the altar. I am blessed to be able to serve. The folks at Weston Baptist were a blessing to both me and my wife. Again, thank you for your prayers! Bro. Tracy

“And there went out a champion out of the camp of Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.” I Samuel 17:4 I felt led to post this! I pray it encourages someone in the work that Almighty God has for them! DON"T STOP! The Philistines had a champion, but God’s man David would be the conqueror of the Philistine’s champion. The King of kings had His hand upon His man. The very heart and soul of the wonderful account of David’s victory over the giant Goliath is the faith David had in God to win the victory. Those in the camp of Israel didn’t believe in David and those in the camp of the Philistines certainly didn’t believe that the shepherd boy had a chance with a sling and five stones. You are going to find yourself in situations when even your brothers and sisters in Christ just won’t get it when the God of heaven calls you to do something beyond your strength. Mark it down, there will be doubters. The enemy will be sure to show himself and he will whisper doubt in your ear. Stand tall and strong in the power of God’s might. Never allow the lack of faith of another to dilute your trust in God and what He has called you to do. Victory will be sweet and God will get all the glory and praise. Remember, the faith you exhibit will be a testimony and a stepping stone for those who will be coming up behind you whose calling might be questioned. Psalm 57
1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yea, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities be overpast. 2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me. 3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth. 4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. 5 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. 6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst whereof they are fallen themselves. Selah. 7 My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. 8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations. 10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds. 11 Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let thy glory be above all the earth. Psalm 32
1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. 3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. 4 For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. 5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah. 6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him. 7 Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah. 8 I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. 9 Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee. 10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the Lord, mercy shall compass him about. 11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart. Pastor Judson Douglas sent me this urgent prayer request from one of their missionaries they support and I am passing it on. This request comes from Bro. B.J. Stagner Jr. IFB church planting missionary to the UK and Pastor via twitter- URGENT PRAYER REQUEST- "Will you please commit to prayer with me & our church for one of our members daughter?! Her name is Leannon Carr 50 days in hospital and she hasn't eaten for 60 days... And has lost about 112 pounds!!! Several specialist have seen and treated her thus far with multiple doctors unable to figure out the problem!" Prayers from around the world will make a difference around the world! Let's be praying! Thanks for visiting and thanks for praying, Bro.Tracy Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 37:3-4 The Bible says, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.”(Proverbs 3:13) As a child of God, we must always come to God’s word for true wisdom for our lives. One will find wisdom where wisdom lives, and in doing so they will gain understanding. The Bible will lead us by its God-breathed instructions (2 Timothy 3:16). We will both find wisdom and understanding as the Holy Spirit illuminates God’s truth, these will not only impact our lives, but the lives of those around us. What powerful words to live by. When we trust in the Lord, we will continue on His path and in His will for our lives. As we continue to trust, we will do good because we will be following Him. The sure path of obedience will lead to good. I find it interesting that we will plan a week or a day around the trust we put into a weather man or woman who really can’t guarantee for certain what a day might bring. We need to take heed of David’s words, and as we do, we will feed on God’s faithfulness. The good shepherd will look after us. Psalm 23:1 is a wonderful reminder of God’s faithfulness, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” The evildoer will trust in himself, and, in turn, they will find a hard way that resembles not the one who trusts and follows the Lord. When the Lord becomes our delight, His delights will become our delights, and that is how we get the delights of our hearts. After I was saved, God began a powerful work in my life. There was a change in those things I once delighted in, and that change came through the Holy Spirit working in my heart, (John 16:7-8) and God’s word shaping and teaching me true delight. David says, “Delight thyself also in the Lord.” It starts with us and it is an action we must desire to initiate. I will be starting a revival meeting this coming Friday- Sunday at Weston Baptist Church. I will be preaching, singing specials and teaching SS class. Will you please pray everyday leading up to and during the meeting? I desire that the God of heaven will speak to the hearts of everyone who attends this meeting. I must decrease and He must increase. O to have a Holy Spirit filled meeting! To have God's unction and power as I preach His messages. I am thirsting for more & more of God. "Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?" Psalm 85:6 I.The Source of Revival- "Wilt thou" Is God. II.The Subject of Revival- "Us" It is God's people. III.The Satisfaction of Revival- "Rejoice in thee" It's the joy found in the Lord. Thanks for praying and thanks for visiting, Bro. Tracy “Then said Jesus to his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?”
Matthew 16:24-26 How strange this must have sounded to the disciples and how much more strange it must sound to most today. We live in a culture of pleasure seeking, where success is measured in monetary gain and the ease in which we live our lives. I’m afraid that the world’s culture has found its way into the hearts, minds and lives of many Christians. It is getting harder to see the difference between the born again and the lost. Too many believe that to deny their selves anything would be to drop out of the game of life. Too often we believers choose comfort over the taking up of our cross and if we are to follow the Lord Jesus Christ it must not interfere with our own hopes, dreams and schedules that we have chosen for ourselves. I have learned that God has the best plan for our lives. When we choose to deny our own plans, our own will and our own desires we will walk down the path of the Lord’s wonderful and exciting plan He has for our lives. When we suffer for the cause of Christ and choose to give ourselves to Him wholeheartedly we will truly be living. We will experience true joy and purpose that will flow from heaven. It is and will be the best life. We cannot straddle the fence as believers because that brings a division in our hearts. To have one foot in the world and one foot in God’s plan for our lives, will never work. The word of God speaks to Christians in a powerful way on the subject of the world and its relation to the believers, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world” (1 John 2:15-16.) Three reasons why the redeemed should not to love the world: I. Because of the character of the world-what it is II. Because of the corruption of the world-what it does. III. Because of the condemnation of the world-where it's headed. If you are saved, is what you are living for worthy of Jesus dying? Are you following the Lord Jesus Christ? What choice will you make? If you are not saved, what profit is there if at the end of your life you have only invested in the things of this world? The answer according to God’s Word is a lost soul. Dear friend if you aren’t saved, please go to the “Decision and Destiny” page and consider God’s Word. That which we delight in will in turn have an impact in our lives either for good or for bad. When it comes to the Word of Almighty God being that one thing that we delight in day and night it will be for our good and for our growth in the Lord. We need to make a decision and stick with it no jumping back and forth. Get in! Stay in! Dig in! Into the Word of God. What decision will you make?
